Modern english
The last stop of the language was in 1476 when William Claxton introduced the first printing machine in England and the language fever spread to the whole territory, publishing the first English dictionary in the year 1604.
It was from the 16th century, when the expansion of the British Empire brought with it many words of foreign origin that were incorporated into the English language, that we realize that the imprint of all the peoples that have passed through the British Isles remains today in the English language. Furthermore, the number of words from other languages incorporated into this language is enormous. However, we must not forget that the core of the language is Anglo-Saxon, the father of Old English, with more or less 5,000 words from that time that remain to this day.
